Okay, Mary Donovan, a new member, inspired me to try to read everything I possibly could get my hands on by Stephen in a year as my 2015 resolution.

If anyone would care to join me, feel free. Read what you want, in whatever order you want, as fast as you want. Post here as you go.

January 1st, I will be starting with Carrie.
I'm in. Question. I started a little reread campaign in december. Am i allowed to count these books? It was reading Revival that inspired me. For example. just finished Christine today. And then i very recently read Cujo, Misery, The Girl who loved Tom Gordon and Tommyknockers too.

I will join in the fun! I started my re read in publication order a few months ago with Richard Chizmar on Stephen King Revisited. So far I have read Carrie, Salems Lot The Shining and Rage. Now I am just a few stories into Night Shift.
I didn't remember how creepy the stories were in Night Shift! *shiver*

I will try post my thoughts here as I re read the books. This will be fun!

It's however you want to do it! I'm just trying to see how many Stephen King's I can read in 2015, and i'm also going to try and watch movies too. Let me know what you do.

I'm joining you. Sounds like fun. I posted earlier some thoughts on my rereads in the written works section for every book. Will interesting to see how many you can read. Good idea to try to fit in some movies too. Several I haven't seen at all.

I started a chronological SK reread last year (around other books as well and reading the new SK novels as they were released!). I'm currently on Firestarter. I just can't read Cujo or Pet Sematary again though! :a11:

7th book, not counting Bachmans
Crap, where are you seeing that easily? I checked The Library here on the site, but it seems to be alphabetical.

I would like a list of his books in published order. Not alphabetical and not in the order he wrote them. I want to read them in the order they were published. Where is that list?

I just know it by heart. I can list every single King/Bachman book in publication order from my memory. It's one of my few skills. :p

The order is:
Carrie
'Salem's Lot
The Shining
Rage (Bachman)
Night Shift
The Stand
The Long Walk (Bachman, pretty sure it came before Dead Zone)
The Dead Zone
Firestarter

FAQ How can I tell if I have a first edition? BV has them listed in chronological order.
