A mark in the World

Hile, my friends.

I think it`s undeniable that every single one of us wants to leave a mark in this world. Something, anything, to be remembered by. Yeah, it`s called vanity. All of us suffer from it.
When I was younger...or maybe even not too long ago, I wanted to be remembered as a writer.
How ridiculous that seems to me since I have become a parent.
I know, you gonna say it`s corny and lame but all I want is to be remembered as a good father. That`s all I want. Some of you are gonna say " well, why can`t you be both?"
Sure you can, or at least try, but my kid is gonna read thousands of authors she`s gonna like....but have only one Daddy who she is loved by.
What mark would you like to leave when you are gone?!

...Oh my Gawd bro!...she is an angel!!!!!....as for what I'd like to be remembered for?....couple of things, a decent sense of humor-that I loved my wife and kids with all my heart and soul, though they may have wondered about that frequently-and how I could shove three large cookies in my gob at the same time without choking...

There is one other thing I would like to be remembered for :
That I was a member of the most beautiful family of virtual and real-life friends there is on this World - The Stephen King Ka-Tet.
`Cause if there is a better and greater family than this one...I have yet to find it.
