very friendly, and interesting to say the least! I haven't been able to stop looking through forums all day :)
Yes, that happens! I used to spend all of my time here. I've had some great correspondences with people all over the world, and I've learned a lot. I'll look for your intro thread in a bit; that way I know a little more about you :smile::smile:.

I don't know that I have an intro thread so to speak, lol or maybe commenting on threads for the first time qualifies as that. But thanks! I appreciate the welcome!

Hi Andryia, nice to have you with us.
My two picks out of those would be The Talisman or Bag of Bones. Two absolutely beautiful books. I have read The Talisman several times, I just love it. (Black House is the sequel, so make sure you get the order right.)
Thank you so much! I wasnt aware they were a sequence pair so I'll be sure to read them in the correct order! :)

Black House is the sequel to The Talisman (good if read in order).
Firestarter was published way before Bag of Bones, and I like them both about equally well, so I'd go with Firestarter since it was published first.
I've gotten that a lot today as far as advice on which ones to read, go in chronological order :) thinking that's what I'll do but I'm so indecisive lol

Did you say Lisey's Story was your introduction to King's books? If so, then I'd say Firestarter. If you can find a copy of Pet Sematary, read it. It's my favorite. You should experience his early writing to get a true sense of him.
yes Lisey's Story was my first! I actually can get Pet Semetary, next time I go to my mother in laws which'll probably be mid next week and I'm eager to start a new book tonight after finishing The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon this morning, and these are just the ones I have at my house.

lucky enough for me I don't think I'll be going anywhere anytime soon :p I've been trying to talk about the books I've read with Hubbs, and just sound like a babbling idiot trying to explain these complex story lines and characters and crazy connections throughout the stories. and I'm glad to have found somewhere like this!! although I was dubbed a noob but that I will take xD
