Dinner AND a movie - together?! Probably seven years ago. ;-D

Have you ever received a speeding ticket?
Yes I have and it was on a military base (Borden Ontario)

- I called the Military Police back home (Edmonton) and they said don't worry about it. (They said if Base Borden sent a warrant for my arrest to Edmonton they would just throw it out or shred it!)
- I was on a course at the time - Borden is a training base.

Do you have red light cameras in your city that will also catch you if you speed?
(and - Have YOU even been caught speeding?)

I think there are a few of those around here (or so I've heard).

I've only had one speeding ticket. I was in an unfamiliar town and the speed limit changed and I didn't see the sign (it was on a weird curvy road). I should've fought it in court so I could've kept my unblemished record. :)

When was the last time you went to a zoo?

Maybe last summer (I think?) - we have a really good polar bear exhibit at our zoo here.

Do you sometimes stay on this board long after you should have signed off?

I used to spend a lot more time here. Sometimes I check in on my phone when I can't sleep.

How many hours of sleep do you need to feel rested?
It used to be a solid eight hours or I found it hard to function - as I get older I can do okay on 6 1/2 to 7 hours.

When was the last time you ate any animal flesh (of any kind, including fish)?

Only when I was tiny. My mom lived with her grandparents way out in the country when I was born, until my dad got home from Vietnam (the first time)

Do you prefer small towns or big cities?
Small towns, but not TOO small (everyone knows your business, it seems)

What is the largest city you have ever lived in? (or the most exotic/unusual place?)

Nah mine's just as filthy as it ever was.
Have you ever hitch-hiked any long trips?
I have not. I like to travel but my wanderlust isn't like that of many who love living on the very edge of adventure. I don't mean that I believe that style is particularly risky, though it might be, it's just that it's not my personality. I'd like to hitch with a friend.

Have you ever been to an outdoor concert which drew thousands of people?
