Good nutrition (or the lack thereof)

I know that sounds kind of silly or perhaps unimportant but I see so many overweight unhappy people who eat too much fast food. On top of that it destroys your health and makes your body old before its time. (contributes to lots of preventable diseases too)

Have you even had to go to the hospital for something serious like a broken limb or other major complaint?

Yep, broken foot - complete break and in a cast for almost nine months. Ugh...

Does that mean that the Jalapeño kettle chips I have right now are not a good idea? Ha! :)

Plain white paper or lined notebook paper or stationary?

No, I've been in decent health. I've never had broken bones. The last surgery I has was in 1988, had my appendix removed.

What movie do you find irritating?

I can't think of a specific film that irritates me ... though I'm sure if I saw the title of a few I could go there. In general, the 'action scene' is kind of tired and given the massive amount of skill and money it takes to do those scenes it would be cool to see some new ideas.

Favorite film?
Adaptation with Meryl Streep, Nicolas Cage and Chris Cooper. Blew my mind. I marvel at that screenplay...great film. (Of course ten more pop into my head.)

What is the best album you've ever heard?

I have different best albums. Depends on my mood. Graceland (Paul Simon), Moving Pictures (Rush), Pictures At An Exhibition (the piano version and ELP's), So (Peter Gabriel), Selling England By The Pound (Genesis)....

Have you ever won a contest? What kind was it and how did you win?

I won a T-shirt from a radio station in Edmonton Alberta from a phone in radio show - the question was:

What colour is a black box? [the kind you find on an aircraft that sends out a signal if or when the plane goes down]

So my question is - Do YOU know what colour a "black box" is?

I'm guessing it's not black, lol. Yellow?

What's the longest amount of time you've been stuck at a railroad crossing waiting for train to move?

Hmmm - over 175 cars worth I think? (doesn't everyone count the cars going by?)

Do you consider yourself a good housekeeper overall?

black boxes are actually bright orange

I meant what's the longest duration you've been stuck at a RR crossing waiting for stalled train to move? Or is this only an American problem?

Yeah, I'm one who cleans up immediately after cooking and cleans frequently when I have time.

What snack is in your house on a regular basis?

Tortilla chips (plain) - we dip them in salsa or else melt cheese on top - good with chili too

I am not aware of trains regularly stalling in my neck of the woods, by the way

When was the last time you took an actual bath right up to your neck in water? (assuming you have a deep tub that is) (or is the answer 'never'?)

Hmmmm...but then again, I never thought about The Bible being a long book.
Is it longer than War and Peace?
Must be.
So, it`s my favorite book of all time. Like 300 times or so...don`t laugh, read a few pages every day for like 30 something years and yeah man, it`s a lot of times. :)

I like Tolstoy but haven't read that one. Les Miserables is the longest book I've read, I think. Then IT and The Stand.
War and Peace and Ulysses will be my goal for my later years.

Do you prefer butterscotch pudding or would you rather have something like custard or tapioca? (and no - we are not in "this or that" - just curious - [alternately if neither turns your crank then what is your favourite dessert?]
