After watching Breaking Bad and becoming a Bryan Cranston fan, I found this series on netflix. I never watched an episode of the show when it originally aired. I've been watching it on netflix lately and find it hilarious.
Great show! Everybody Hates Chris is a good one too. Angst riddled adolescent humor, ah the childhood memories.

I started watching Luther tonight. Mostly because I'm curious about Idris Elba. Now that I have judging him out of my system and have confidence in his skills I can carry on watching. It's a great show. Elba is fantastic.
Season, or rather, series one is free with subscription on Netflix. I haven't checked out 2 or 3 yet, but they're probably free too.

Been catching up on the Law & Order oeuvre when I'm up with insomnia or pain. I've always just been a casual viewer of L&O, all three versions. I love the old L&O ones with Jerry Orbach and the CI ones with D'Onofrio. The cast of SVU was best with the Stabler-Benson and Munch-Tutuola pairings, IMO. Munch has always been a favorite character, ever since Homicide: Life On The Streets. I do rather like procedurals of any kind but there are so many L&O I haven't seen, it's cool to catch up.

Did you ever watch The Wire , Patricia? It's one of my favourites, Idris is brilliant in that.

Hutch ended up a Vampire Killer, mind ya.

David Soul is a vamp killer from way back. Actually DVR'd the vampire episode of Starsky and Hutch y'udder day, called, significantly enuf, 'The Vampire'. John Saxon as a dancing instructor turned vampire preying on his students and strippers--such as a tasty pre-Three's Company Suzanne Sommers. Huggy Bear selling vamp killer kits, $7.95 gets ya stake, mallet, mirror, garlic, and handy carrying case. Seventies tv gold, kiddies.

Dexter was fantastic! I probably won't watch it again though. I used to love it, but I have kinda begged off on Crime Drama because... many reasons. I still obviously will make exceptions here and there.
It is good to find something you haven't watched before. I'm just on the 2nd season, my mate reckons it goes downhill after the 4th season. Definitely give The Wire a watch, I'm watching that for the 3rd time with a friend.

If I remember correctly the series does get a little hinky somewhere around the 4th season, but it still keeps you wondering what happens next.
I'm nearly done with Luther, then I'm moving on to The Wire. Elba is so quirky and strong as an actor. I really like that. He moves like no other actor. That sounds odd but I wonder if you noticed that about him.
