I was going to ask "is this a selfie?" but then I realized the angle was all wrong!I googled AR pistol and I'm pretty worried about someone secretly packing one of these.

As someone who lost her husband as the result of gun violence, I personally think she deserves a bit more respect. How stupid. Guess what? Someone who couldn't pass a background check wouldn't be allowed to have a gun in Nevada either.
I suppose a criminal who would use a gun illegally would be deterred by a law against carrying one. I also suppose monkeys might fly out of Sarah Brady's butt.

I would expect no less of you considering your views on gun rights.Well I was going to say mine but it was her organization that made the video. Just vernacular that isn't particularly disrespectful in my opinion.
You’re relatively new here, I believe. It takes awhile here to be relegated to the lowest form of life on earth.I understand. I know my views will be mostly unpopular here. We're all human.
I don't believe in either Heaven or Hell so wouldn't categorize anyone into those slots. I'm pretty sure M&P15 joined on the previous Board shortly after the Guns essay came out as the area he's from is where I do my grocery shopping when I'm on vacation so it rang a bell for me. Not that there couldn't also be someone else from that same area with the same ideologies but does seem a bit coincidental. Just saying that he probably figured it out the last time. You’re relatively new here, I believe. It takes awhile here to be relegated to the lowest form of life on earth.
I believe the unofficial hierarchy in the Hot Topics section is as follows:
Heaven
Progressives
Liberals
Democrats
Democrats who claim to be Independents
Purgatory
True Independents
Hell
Republicans
Conservatives
Second Amendment Enthusiasts
Tea Party
Me
Well sure. But no one was singling you out.And this being Stephen King's Official Board, it isn't too difficult a leap to think that someone working for him might share his views and ideology and lean toward supporting them.

Of course. That makes perfect sense. What surprises me is that it seems to extend to the members here and I don't see why his writing would be more popular with the progressive set.
Sorry Ms Mod, I was editing and what you approved wasn't what I said so take another look to make sure it's OK.
I should have quoted M&P15 for my response to the comment about it being the "official" hierarchy.Well sure. But no one was singling you out.
What is so hard to grasp? He started off in “GUNS” with some commons sense in the piece, but quickly moved to why the NRA and guns were evil. King has glorified violence and tragedy in his books to make money, which one can't deny. His profits (or whatever you want to call them) from the sale of “GUNS” was going to the Brady Foundation, which is all about Gun Control. I don’t understand the idea that some might have a problem with the profits of King’s work going to such an organization, is so hard to comprehend, especially since he has made so much money off the subject in his books.A Like doesn't always mean agreement with what the person said--it can just be an acknowledgment of it, but even though I "liked" your first comment doesn't mean I disagree with how you edited it. Personally I don't see why his writing should make a difference with any group as the majority of it is fictional and the characters aren't always a direct representation of him or his ideologies. That people get their panties in a wad because of something he wrote just doesn't make sense to me. That even extends to the Guns essay, though. He had an opinion which he voiced and if someone reads it and then agrees with it or decides it's not to their liking is their right to do so but to take it to the extremes that some did, I have a hard time wrapping my head around.
