These are my Blue & Gold's nesting.. They are breeder birds.. not so friendly (the female is friendly tho) Bonnie & Clyde (aka Lucifer)

Bonnie wanting to nest in the puppies pool 'before' I put her nesting box in her flight cage.. lol

And here is my Beloved Cowboy... he is a Congo African Grey .. have had him a very long time. There isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't make us laugh!!

The first time I went into the studio after my two week trip, El Birdo (Cockatiel) flung herself around the cage in a frenzied panic. She had FITS at the sight of me. Maybe she thought I was dead when I didn't come home for so long. Then, when I walked in, maybe she thought she saw a ghost or something.
She's doing much better now. I went in to greet her this morning, and she chirped and clicked away like normal.

Thats a Bofink. Very common bird in Sweden. Stays the summer and then goes south for the winter. I think, but won't vouch for it that it is called Chaffinch in english.

My older cat gave me a couple of funny looks when he heard this 'Bofink' singing

This has always been one of my faves among the local fauna of birds. Talgoxe in Swedish- I think it is a Great Tit in english (don't laugh)

I like this one - the red winged blackbird - they are usually found near water - lagoons, marshes etc. I heard them a lot when I was a young girl and my Dad had a boat and a small 'marina'.

my brother was showing me these birds down where his houseboat is docked, but I never could get close enough to see the red!!

I would like to point out that this man had a ton of tattoos. Now, I realize nowadays that isn't a big deal, but not so long ago, people with tattoos were on the edge of society, scary people. Bad people.

Anyone who would take the time to let a bird take a bath in his hands is okay with me.

I looked out back this morning and there must have been over fifty birds, of many different species, mulling around in the yard. Gave me a Hitchcolk sorta feeling. I opened the sliding door and yelled... "I know, I know! I’ll make a trip to Kmart this evening and buy more bird food."

This is Antonio with his harpy eagle he nursed back to health after it was shot. It is blind in one eye, and unfortunately cannot be released back in the wild.

This particular harpy eagle is a female, and about 22 pounds with a 7 foot wingspan.

Just awesome. I love how she has the perpetual Peace Sign on her crown.
