I just tried to access Falling Fruit and was told it is an untrusted site (dang it!) - I will try again later on a different computer.Okay, I knew if I put what this thread really was about, no one would look at it. This is cool you guys. Really, it is. Check out this urban foraging map.
Falling Fruit
You do not have to sign up. If a sign up thing pops up, just close it and go zoom in on your area on the map.
It shows you free food to forage in your area with street views and everything.
Okay, I'm a gardening geek.
...my dad has one on his property...Anybody find any paw paw trees while foraging?

I did try again later and a map came up as it wanted to know my location (which makes sense!) I do have an apple tree in my front yard so I suppose I could add that in there if I wanted others to pick the fruit p.s. Must you sign up or log on? I think I will wait until later on to do thatIt's a .org site so not sure why it would be untrusted. On wait, that's government, right?
...quite a good flavor, but then again-my dad for years was a fruit tree hobbyist and knew how to plant and care for many a variety, which also helps enhance flavor...I haven't seen one in a long time. They used to be pretty common in these parts.
