Ooooo, be sure and show us a slice too.It's a plain yellow cake (from scratch) with a Swiss merengue buttercream under all those sprinkles. There are sprinkles mixed into the batter as well. I can't wait until after dinner when I can cut it to see what it looks likes... and how it tastes!
The hardest part was icing it to get the top and sides straight. The second hardest part was getting the sprinkles on. You literally have to toss handfuls at the sides to get them to stick. And they wind up all over the kitchen. I'm sure I'll be finding them for weeks to come!
