It looks a little off-center to the right to me but it could just be the way I'm seeing it. Even if it is, it's a beautiful stocking.

;-D At first I read that as DJ (Dana Jean) suggested you add horns--which would have fit, now that I think of it.

That's what it looks like to me too. I guess I'm not as finished as I thought. Since it looked off to me, I used a piece of thread to compare and there is a bit more space to the left. Not much, just one or two squares. I had hoped I was being overly critical of my own work, which I often am.

I've finished the stitching in the stocking. Sorry for the poor quality picture...bad lighting.

Does the name look centred?

Moderator I usually prefer to use Mill Hill beads instead of French knots. But this pattern uses just one thread for the knots and wrap around needle only one time. So, in comparison, the beads were really big. They made the Santa in the top right corner look possessed. (DH suggested I add horns. )
Beautiful job!! I agree with Ms. Mod that the name might be a smidge off to the right, but not enough that I would change it. At first, I didn't see it, but after reading her comment, I did. So, really not noticeable and if you hadn't asked us, we probably wouldn't have seen it!;-D

I can relate to that! Would just one more leaf and vine on the left even it out?

I've pulled out the stitches and recharted. I don't think the picture shows it clearly, but the spacing between the letters looked off too. Stupid alphabet. Usually I out the same amount of space between each letter, but because these letters are slanted, that doesn't really work.

The original error....to far to one side....was not actually MY fault. It was one more error in the pattern.

Love them! What about adding a rose under the title on the front piece? Just centered under the title. I think that would be cool! I love the keyhole and Ka symbol on the spine. What colors are you going to make these?

A rose would be a nice accent. The intention was to do the Keyhole in Gold. Lettering in Silver and KA symbol in white.

But alas...the last two days have been nothing but frustration. I got a new blade for my Cricut. Got a new mat as well. After three attempts at cutting DT I, all of which ended badly and have ruined three very expensive sheets of material...I was ready to scream...or cry. Or Both. I decided to use a different font because the cutter kept mangling letters up because I think the fonts might have been too thin for the cutter to deal with. Got ready to try one more time and now the darn software won't let me upload (I hate Cricut design space for this reason - it is ONLINE ONLY which is completely stupid).

I was hoping to finish this set by this weekend. Looks like it ain't happening. The painful process of creating. Grrrrr.

Lil man looks super cute! I would feel confident he could get me out of the bad guy's clutches!
Thanks! We have so much making homemade costumes, and they wear FOREVER. Store costumes seem to fall apart pretty easily, unless you drop a fortune on them. I was pretty proud of my cape--I'm getting GOOOOOD at eyeballing and creating those on the fly!

Store bought stuff can cost a fortune and still be poorly made. Your version looks like it is from the store, only nicer.

People just don't understand the time and materials it takes to hand make things at home. They always think the pricing is going to be similar to what a store charges. I once quoted a price (no contract, no commitment, only a quote) for a giant cupcake cake to feed 20+ people to a coworker and when I told her the price she got mad at me and from then on gave me the cold shoulder at work. Granted, she was a bit loony to begin with, but c'mon!

Take photos of your culinary creations! I'd love to see them :)

Very Cool! Is that metal art?

It's perfect!

Here's the one shot I got last night at the school Fall Festival. I'll get more on Monday before he goes out trick or treating.

Wow! You did LOTS better than store bought :)

I feel your frustration *hugs* I hate problems caused by things outside of my control :(
