Hey, Maryanne. Thanks for sharing this song. I'd never heard it performed, although it was one of the first tunes I learned on piano along with "Last Date" by Floyd Cramer. In the same vein, I like "Stranger On The Shore", "Stella By Starlight", and "A Time For Us".
The Righteous Brothers do a nice rendition with the words.

Great album! I like "Tupelo Honey", too. Not sure if it's on this album, can't remember. Morrison has a bunch of mellow, nostalgic songs- usually with a warm, friendly sax.

Tupelo Honey is the title track of an album. That's a fine album too. Another favorite album is Into The Music.

He's still releasing good albums.

Good one. I think Nottie likes this song, too. (I just realized your signature is from a Bad Company song...right?:umm:)
Yes sir. I like the song, I have a story about seeing Bad Company in concert in 1993, and I'm pretty sure the statute of limitations is up on everything that occurred.....but that's a story for another time.;).The signature is also a nod to Roland Deschain, my favorite literary character of all time on this level of the tower or any other.
