I am blond 29 year old and very positive and happy. 2013 when I was at the kon in Maine someone I think it was Patricia A
said that I look exactly like gabrielle in Xena. Maybe I do, except that I don't have that kind of hair anymore that I had during the
kon. I love animals. I live with my one year elder partner. What else..... I have a good job at the moment. Shortly, this is me. =D
That was me! And you do. Do you remember when we scared the people who were watching us read from your book? ;-D
One of my best memories from that day! ((((Jojo))))

Describe myself, hmm. Well I'm Morgan, I am female, I live on the east coast of the US, and I'm a 23-year-old writer. Blah, that's too vague...

I read my first Stephen King novel, Desperation, at 12 and was hooked to the horror genre ever since. I was already a bookish child, and had read as many books as I could get my hands on at the local library. I love to make the "Matilda" joke, but it's somewhat accurate. I began writing full-length novels at 10 after my mother bought me my first computer, they got significantly better after I discovered a passion for the horror genre. I can still recall finishing the first halfway decent, if you can even call it decent, novel. It was about werewolves eating children, my mother was sufficiently displeased lol. She became even more displeased after I discovered a love for heavy metal music at 13 when I saw a performance of Rob Zombie on the David Letterman show. It was like a King horror novel come to life, and I fell in love. I pleaded to have a guitar of my own, and she eventually relented unaware I'd soon be dying my hair black and shredding Slayer in my bedroom at max volume.

I love guitar, many people feel like the piano is a more "feminine" instrument, but I'm proud to call myself a guitar player. Especially having stuck with it for over 10 years. My first string of jobs were within the music field. Teaching, selling, and repairing guitars. It became one of those things where you learn not to make your passion your job. I started falling out of love with music, and thus went back to my roots as a writer. I was employed for a time at a publishing house, and now currently work as assistant editor and writer for a video game company. I write stories for games, game guides, reviews, and edit content that comes in. I'm more of a short story writer now than a novelist, and have had a few of my short fiction published in literary journals. I have been working on the same novel for years, and it's difficult to juggle my love of writing in-between everything else I do. Working full time, and to balance my time equally among my many different passions. Music, photography, art, and of course reading. I end up reading 10 books simultaneously, and then go to the thrift store and buy 10 more. I'm a terrible insomniac, frequently staying up well past 4am. My friends describe me as "nocturnal", as in, I'm semi-functional during the day, but I truly come alive at night, and I get some of my best writing done at night.

And that's about it really. I love Stephen King, and if you've kept track of my posts here on the forums I also love long-winded posts. 'Tis a pleasure to meet and converse with all of you!

Preppy is nice - Nothin' wrong with a clean cut looking guy.
But - do you like to go camping and get dirty?
Of course. I love the outdoors, hiking, exploring, traveling (wait, I sound like I'm giving you my dating profile for the Dating Game) and all sorts of guy stuff. Car shows, fishing, and community. I enjoy wine tastings, live music, the symphony, flea markets, random summer drives photographing old bridges and fading landmarks of Americana. I'm definitely not a sports guy or very competitive. I'm introspective but also enjoy talking with friends around a bon fire or at a church function. TMI? Sorry. :)

You're a luthier, then? That is extremely cool. I just picked up the guitar again after stopping playing when I was 20-ish. I am not a guitar player though, I'm just someone who can play some songs on the instrument. I'm working on the rest.

For the purposes of this thread: I am creeping up on 60 (ye gods!). Love to read, listen to Prog rock (as you all know well) and write. I write for a left-leaning political website. I also dabble in other forms of writing. Working on a book about political words/phrases right now. I suffer from a ridiculously rare disorder wherein my feet swell, burn and turn red. It keeps me at home most of the time.

I love the people on this board and adore working as a Mod. Thank you. :::bowing:::

You being one of the moderators on the SKMB is greatly appreciated. Healing vibes for the foot health issue.

That is great Jojo - but it sounds like you live with an old man (for the last year) :p - I know - it was lost in translation. Juho is one year older than you.

So having said all that here is a picture of Gabrielle (Xena?) - that was Wonder Woman's sidekick wasn't it?

Show this gif to Juho - see what he thinks!

Yes I meant older. Sorry my mistake. ;;D
