I came across this article claiming that Our Favorite Author created two G.I. Joe characters.

It looks legit and all with the references on the cards, but can anyone around here verify this to be fact?

Did You Know Stephen King Created a G.I. Joe Toy in the '80s?! - Bloody Disgusting

well, they make the same claim on a wiki i found for gi joes (man there's a wiki for everything lol), and the back stories do seem to support it . . .i guess i'm not the one who can confirm or deny, but if it's true, that's pretty cool

I'm trying to recall -- was Crystal Ball mentioned in The Tommyknockers near the end of the book, maybe in the epilogue? I could have that wrong, but for some reason I think I'm correct. Anyone know?
Yes, there is a reference in the Epilogue.
Hilly and David are talking about trading GI Joes after David wakes up and David mentions Crystal Ball.
