That makes me feel a little better. Even without commercials it didn't seem anywhere near enough time to do in an hour show.
It's listed as 120 mins, so hopefully that's all Downton and not PBS sneaking some pledge drive in there.

It would be nice if they ended Downtown Abbey with an opening for a spin-off. I'd like to see how Patmore's and the Hughes' places do and how the school, the farms and hospital do. As a matter of fact there's enough material left over to make a couple of shows. In other words....

Thanks for your answer - I was not trying to sidetrack this thread (but I appreciate your answer). - Wow - it is March already and it was around mid February I posted that!I miss the humor of the courtship but I still love the show. Castle's approach to solving crime makes me smile and Esposito and Ryan are always good for a few laughs I don't think The Big Bang Theory is as funny since Leonard and Penny got married though.
Has Carson learned a lesson? lol... he lost a bit of his stuffiness
Perfect. Just perfect.
ARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!! My SO had the DVR set up wrong which created a conflict and it didn't record so we missed the first 40 minutes because we were watching the end of another show. Yes, he's still alive although there was murder in my heart. He found another airing for the 11th so it better tape it right that time. If not, I'm sure I'll be able to find it somewhere else, maybe on the NPR site. We watched the rest of the show anyway so was able to follow along but I want to find out exactly what I missed.
View attachment 14374 Oh no, not mounted at all. It plugs directly into the TV and is a flat shiny rectangle of plastic about the size of a notebook. It sits on our entertainment center and if there's a channel that's not getting great reception, we rotate it a bit and no further issues. The picture with the antenna is actually better than the picture we got when we had digital cable service.
Those work really well. My neighbor has one and she loves it. I got it for her for watching my cats as she wouldn't take any money. I paid 10 bucks for it at Big Lots. It gets all local channels and PBS, it gets some weird UHF? type channels too. Old classic movie channels etc. It's worth a try.
