There's a typo on page 27.
Someone's hair is described as "sandy" in one chapter and then 3 chapters later, the same character has "dark" hair.

When referring to the Mercedes from the original novel, the storage pouch attached to the back of the front passenger seat is described as being made of rich Corinthian leather. In reality, only the driver's side pouch was made of rich Corinthian leather. In a money saving effort for that model of Mercedes, the manufacturer put a vinyl pouch on the passenger side seat. This careless error completely destroyed the novel for me. 1 star.
Now this right here made me laugh. To show my appreciation, I will skip jabbing you with a sharp stick for today. You may choose anyone you wish to receive said jab......or I could just give it to OoO as usual. Just let me know.I am truly mystified by King's latest, truly and really so. At the end of the story he pretty much ruined it for me with the inclusion of these mysterious dates that try as I might I can't make sense of in relation to the story. Presently, there is a bonfire going in the back yard as this one mistake pushed me over the edge and I snapped. Has the old man lost it? I mean, seriously, what is wrong with the editing process? Does no one have a standard anymore? Sheesh!
And another thing! You would think that the administrators of this website would know to put this thread in the proper place! I am so out of here! I almost began another thread, in the proper place, when I stumbled on this thread in Chattery Teeth! Haruuummmmph! If anyone wants to know, I went thataway!

If I recall it was said by Tobias Wolff. Mayhap a typo? This one is for real: on page 271 the quote 'We are made to persist, that's how we find out who we are.' is attributed to Tobias Wolfe. Did King mean Tobias Wolff or did he mean Thomas Wolfe? One of my favorite authors is Tobias Wolff.
That's what I'm thinking. I notified Marsha and she checking into it. There is an author listed under 'Tobias Wolfe' but I doubt it's anyone Steve has read. The language is too modern for Thomas Wolfe, I think. If I recall it was said by Tobias Wolff. Mayhap a typo?
I was thinking something small along the lines of him dedicating the next book to me, Me, ME MEMEMEMEMEMEMEME!!!The satisfaction that you know something Steve didn't? View attachment 16089
I'll put it in the Suggestion Box.I was thinking something small along the lines of him dedicating the next book to me, Me, ME MEMEMEMEMEMEMEME!!!
Is there a reward?
