Ever Wish You Could Have A Do-Over??

Me being me, I'd probably just make the same boneheaded mistakes or even bigger ones for that matter.

I was fortunate enough last week to actually get a "do-over"! Or in my case, a "do-not-do-over!"

I misunderstood something that had been said during a conference call and thought I was supposed to send a revised contract to a business associate. I told the attorney involved that I had just sent the contract revisions as (I thought) she had requested. She came back with an email that said in all caps "DO NOT SEND THAT CONTRACT!!!" I gulped and felt my face turning red.

As I was trying to figure out how to respond, at that moment I got an email that said my prior email attempt had failed and the system was unable to send the revised contract. WHEW! That was a close one!

Seriously, there are too many times I suffer with the memories of certain things I've said and done. I pray about it, in fact, that I have peace of mind to replace the torment.
