I did that too. I remember doing that to Hagar the Horrible and thinking it was the grandest thing I had ever done. Oh to be young and full of omnipotence.

I don't remember exactly, but I think she was a newspaper reporter.

From the family standpoint:

The Far Side is gone. We all mourn.

Calvin and Hobbes is gone. We all mourn.

Dilbert is still around, and we focus on that every day. In our local rag, Sally Forth appears on Sundays, but not on the weekdays, and we look forward to that on Sunday.

The rest is filler. Sometimes more enjoyable, sometimes less so.

Bloom County is back. I love me some Opus. I also like Doonesbury (which will come as no surprise to some of you).

Calvin and Hobbes was my favorite. We even had a grey tiger cat we named Hobbes when I was a SwiftPup

I also really liked Get Fuzzy and The Boondocks.

The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers were not ready for prime time, but when I was a wayward teen I loved those comics. Fat Freddy's Cat too. Never was nor probably never will be in any newspaper strip.

Best Get Fuzzy strip ran right after the Red Sox won the WS in 2004. Basically the premise was that the Red Sox were destined to win that year because their CF (Johnny Damon) looked like Jesus
