Looks like a great place lol i would go there. :)

You holler at me if you ever make it to Memphis, I'll take you there!

All my faves are local:
1) Shooting Star Saloon-Oldest continuously operating saloon in the state, GREAT burgers, cold beer

2) Rovali's-Best linguini and baby clams I've ever tasted (but everything is good). The owner is a trained sommelier, too, so their wine selection is great and he'll personally pick one for whatever you're having.View attachment 6136View attachment 6137

3) A Good Life Cafe & Juice Bar or Lucky Slice Pizza-For lunch. 'Clean' food, lots of vegetarian options, all hand made in store.

4) Tona Sushi-Phenominal food that looks like art.

And now I'm hungry...

Meanwhile, I'm going to jump in my car and come see you so you can go with me to all these places. Let's start where the sommelier is - I love it when the wine is perfect.

I'll go with you to slam down some sushi. I haven't found a really good place in N'ville and miss my haunts on the West Coast.
I had sushi for lunch today at Osaska - they have a conveyor belt - always fun. I even had some calamari.

Hmm i never had that before but i'm always willing to try some new food lol.
Go to a reputable place for calamari when you have it for the first time. It shouldn't be like rubber bands and the breading shouldn't be heavy. If it's truly a good place, they'll skip a marinara dipping sauce and head straight for lemon, garlic, salt, and parsley, but marinara's okay in a pinch. Calamari is on up there (for me) with gravlax: food of the Gods.

That's hard for me. Hubby and I move a lot. So I will list by State I guess...

Illinois: Oriental Kitchen (Chinese Food), Cajun Connection (Legit Cajun Food), Sam's Pizza (Best Pizza Eva), House of Hunan (Chinese Food), and White Castle (Burger Chain).

Minnesota/South Dakota: Pizza Ranch (Midwest Pizza Chain), Dar's Pizza (Local Pizza Place), Hu Hot (Mongolia Grill), Taco John's (Similar to Taco Bell, but better), and Qudoba (Like Chipotle , but better).

Washington State: Trapper's Sushi(Sushi!!), "That One Place" (That One Place is that name, and it's american comfort food), Blue Agave (Burrito Place), Hop Jack's (A burger place like Red Robin, but 100 times better), and Golden Grill on the Bay (Chinese Food).

We like food...a lot. :p

In N Out is the only burger joint I really go to. The burgers are awesome!

For our very occasional burger, we get a Five Guys Burgers and Fries. We just get one and split it. And their fries are frickin' awesome.

However, I did the anti-heart thing tonight and cooked up two angus burgers, spiced up, with cheese, and grilled onions, mushrooms, and peppers piled on. We used deli flats for bread. It was a good-tasting as any burger we've had anywhere else. And they were so loaded, we didn't miss the fries.
