I agree totally -When is Junkie Deep going to change his old man clothes? HIs sister had time to change into bootie shorts. Totally practical in ZA. The dog's death was just sad. I felt more for the dog than any of these characters.
It just doesn't pay to be a domesticated animal in the zombie apocalypse. Dogs, horses. I'll bet all the cats are okay. "Climb this tree and bite me, zombie-boy."

Got to watch it this evening.
Still not so good. I thoroughly dislike all of the white people on the show--the mother, daughter, and junkie creep need to get munched fast, but I suspect they won't. I far prefer the male teacher (it says something that I still can't remember their names) and his former family, as well as Ruben Blades (his wife and daughter I can take or leave, but I certainly like them better than the Anglo family). For being the only 'name' actor on the show, they aren't doing enough with Mr. Blades. He's a wonderful actor.

And why didn't mister smelly, pukey junkie change into 'real' clothes? It's obvious that he must have some there--the other boy had on a different man's shirt in the second half of the show, too small to be his dad's, and it's not like he and his mom packed anything. Junkie Creep MUST have clothes there--he was only missing for something like 3 mos! It's not like his mom would have thrown out all of his clothes, FFS. But no. He wears smelly dead old man clothes. And greasy, ratty hair. WhiteMom's cleavage and fashionable heeled boots were silly enough, but then WhinyGirl comes out in booty shorts and a tank top and her hair STILL hanging down, even when it had almost killed her. Yep. Just what I'd choose to face Zombies.
I can't wait until October 12. *sigh* Now I'm finishing this one just because I was dumb enough to pay for the season.

I felt bad for Patrick. It's funny because all his screentime consisted of getting out of getting out of a car and carrying his luggage with him. Still, I was really glad when Patrick didn't get bitten. Granted, the rest of his short life probably consisted of cruel, cold military scientists experimenting on his frail old body, but at least he didn't get bitten by his undead wife.

I'm pretty sure they straight up shot Patrick. I doubt he survived past his own back yard.
I'll be happy when teacher mom, sister, ex-wife mom, her kid, and a few soldiers get munched on. I'm on the fence with the dad and his pacifist crap. I like the barber and his family, though I doubt his wife will make it for long with her foot injury. I'm still thinking that if any ONE person survives this show to show up on TWD, it should be Tobias. I like Junkie Depp, but Tobias fits the show's mentality better.

I am just amazed that junkie depp said that the mother gave away "his medicine" to the injured lady. I know he is a junkie, but have some compassion.

he's a junkie. It's all about him. It's part of the disease of addiction. He may later say he shared "his medicine" to help an injured lady. ( Like when he vomited, then told his mom he prevented sis from leaving.) He was also trying to remove the bars from the bedroom window to get in to get the medicine. Risking zombies....better than running out of drugs.

Regarding his clothes, it doesn't surprise me that he wouldn't bother washing or changing clothing, but it surprises me mom hasn't made him. Or sis at least mentioned it. I'm not sure he actually has clothes there though. He sleeps on the sofa, and we've never seen him go to or even mention " his room" have we? He was missing for three months, but was he actually living at home when he disappeared? Still though, step-dad has clean clothes there.

One more thought...I know they kept showing the air plane and helicopter (I assume crashing). I had read that they were going to make Walking Dead on the plane. Just because you can, does not mean you should.

That' a junkie for you. They con't have compassion. Their only concern is where their next fix is coming from. Until he's clean - if he lives that long - that will be his primary concern. I mean, look. He hasn't even put on clean clothes. He doesn't care how he looks, or smells. All he cares about that fix.

I am really trying to like this show. I don't think I should be trying so hard to like a show. The mother of this show is annoying and the Junkie Depp character has long past gone from annoying to I am cheering for the "infected" on this show.

Ok, can someone tell me why you'd have to go wandering around outside the safe zone to figure out that that the army is just basically murdering people that weren't in their homes when they rolled in? Is this woman really that self centered and dumb? Especially after disposing of zombie-principal?

And what was with all the slapping of Junkie Depp? I'm not opposed because his character annoys me. However, she should have tried beating sense into him before he became a junkie.

Who wants to take bets on the jailbait sister trying to commit suicide ala Beth?

The mom played the Madam of a high-end brothel in Sons of Anarchy. I think she's been MILF-cast (I think I just coined a new term ;;D)

They want her to be hot and all tough Momma Bear but she comes across as entitled and bi**y. If I were the cop she ripped into when they were in Junkie Depp's hospital room in EP. 1 I would have arrested her for interfering with my investigation. After telling her to STFU and to try being a parent instead of an enabler for once.
