Ugh, I wish the Mom on this show would get bitten, or shot, or something because she annoys me to no end.

Junkie Depp boy needs to go as well.
Me too. Junkie Depp can stay, though. As long as he keeps getting slapped around. I kinda liked that part.
I am really trying to like this show. I don't think I should be trying so hard to like a show. The mother of this show is annoying and the Junkie Depp character has long past gone from annoying to I am cheering for the "infected" on this show.
The main reason I don't like her is because they're trying to hard to MAKE me like her. They're forcing her "toughness" down our throats, and she's just not.
I thought that scene with Junkie Depp under the guy with Morphine drip was WOW! and then have we not seen enough "golf" scenes in other walking dead.?
Yup. And yup.
I don't get all the complaints. I am really enjoying this show.

I do not trust step-dad though.
I really like this show, too. I think a lot of people are expecting it to be TWD and it's not. I went into it expecting nothing and it's okay. I do have my list of people that need to go, though.
And exactly how do they get a second season out of this? If it were me, there would only be one season, with
only one, two TOPS characters showing on on TWD.
Ok, can someone tell me why you'd have to go wandering around outside the safe zone to figure out that that the army is just basically murdering people that weren't in their homes when they rolled in? Is this woman really that self centered and dumb? Especially after disposing of zombie-principal?

And what was with all the slapping of Junkie Depp? I'm not opposed because his character annoys me. However, she should have tried beating sense into him before he became a junkie.

Who wants to take bets on the jailbait sister trying to commit suicide ala Beth?
I DO NOT like the mom. I keep hoping she'll get bit or shot. Let her get too close to the corner of the yard and have Lassie come up through the dirt and get her on the ankle. I don't care.

Unfortunately, it looks like they're setting booty-shorts sister up to be a survivor. Ugh.

I totally get mom slapping Junkie Depp around. She wanted to believe that he was clean, like he claimed. Then when she realized he was lying, she unloaded on him. What I DON'T get is him putting creepy old dead guy's clothes BACK ON after swimming (and hopefully showering). He did put on a white tee shirt, but those were creepy old dead guy's pants. He's at his own house. One would think he'd have some clothes there.

He's going to have to detox or die. I'd hope for the former, but fully expect the latter. At least maybe we can hope he dies doing one last selfless thing by sacrificing himself to save the others. "Here, bite THIS, zombie-dude! COWABUNGA!!"

I'm interested in where the show might go... there's only a couple episodes left, I think.

Junkie Depp disappointed me with the morphine drip...

According to Wikipedia, his actor played Tom Riddle in Harry Potter.

I thought she was heading out to see what was causing the flashes of light but didn't get that far.

There is a second season scheduled.

Having loved a member of my family who was a junkie I can say, disappointment is the rule, not the exception. (And when they finally do get clean, you never completely believe it....you just keep waiting for a shoe to drop.)

Meh acting fur sure. When will they put this main cast out of their misery and put Daniel, the only one with any chance of surviving the zombie apocalypse, in charge? And apparently this zombie horror show no longer has zombies or horror anymore... must be budget cuts. Thankfully they made the soldiers stereotypical asshats, because that’s the only explanation I can see why they kill everyone in the DMZ but leave one neighborhood alone, not knowing who will turn or not. I mean, some of the girls are hot, but come on! And it seems the soldiers must be brain dead because the don’t realize at some point the people will get hold of some guns and start fighting back once they realize they’ll be killed if they just continue to comply.

WOW!! He was just wee lad.
I think I read he was 16? Baby face, though. He was a creepy little thing, and I have enjoyed the interviews with him r.e. his FtWD character. He finds the guy just as despicable as everyone else--lol. I'm not dissing the actor, BTW--to make me dislike the character this much, he has to be doing a good job. :)

Well they’ve finally jumped the shark. First we got this 'thing' (for lack of a better term). Now the creators of Sharknado are making ‘Dead 7’... an all 90’s boy-band zombie western. It’s got zombies, cowboys, three Backstreet Boys, a 98 Degree, a few ‘NSYNCers, and four members of O-Town. Just shoot me now. :)

Some of the acting is a little bit crap, but in general, I don't think the show is all that bad... there have been a few ("oh, stoooopid!" moments, but hey.. these guys are new to this... they're supposed to be stupid at surviving)
My biggest problem is that I'm really not very connected to the characters, but, I am interested enough in the story to stick with it.

We'll see where they take it from here.

Oh, I've seen worse shows. It's not that horrible. The characters are just tough to like. A junkie, an entitled bi** who thinks she is so much smarter than everyone else, an indecisive wuss, and weepy jailbait are not who I'd want to spend the apocalypse with. Maybe the army will do us a favor and incinerate their neighborhood, forcing them into fight or flight mode.

Haha that is exactly my assessment of them! I kind of like the hardnose attitude of the man they took shelter from in his store..
