they didn't fight harder to keep Henry. Bubbie has a shotgun, but chances are that they're both goners.
Then again, who knows. They're pretty isolated.
Okay, I've seen it now If you watch, it's a whole lot of clever misdirection. Like,
once the little girl changed, it was a doll/puppet/whatever that the mom was rolling around with, not the child. The only shot with the little boy and the zombimom in the same screen space was shot at a distance. He was turned away when the gun was raised, and the 'shot' sound effect was likely added in later. It's unlikely either kid saw anything to distress them (unless their parents are real winners).
I remember the kid from The Shining movie saying that he had no idea what he was filming--the scary stuff was done in different shots, when he wasn't around.
If Sunday’s episode is a glimpse of things to come, the show might actually work since most of the core characters are painfully boring.
Cruise around on their yacht into a new short story adventure every week where the plot focuses on the single episode characters and the main cast merely plays supporting rolls. I think it might be a way to save the show past season 2.
Sunday’s episode was a nod to the classic “Night of the Living Dead,” with trying to keep the family safe and the daughter the parents couldn’t bring themselves to eradicate when she goes all zombie on them.

Just sit right back
And you'll hear a tale
A tale of a fateful trip,
That started from this LA port,
Aboard this mighty ship.
Their fate in the hands of a shady man,
That skipper cruel and blurred.
Eight boring folk set sail that day,
To escape the walking horde,
Escape the walking horde.
shady captain man knowing and talking to the pirate guys on the other boat and making plans with them... I guess he wants to give these people to them for slave labor and other unsavory purposes. Or maybe dad will become spare parts like on the movie Virus which
his character only avoided by drowning at sea.
When they discussed what to do with whatever salvage money they made off of the Russian research vessel, Adam Baldwin's character said, 'buy an island'... that made me think of this episode too.
From season one. Nick and Strand are trying to escape. But they're locked in with walkers bearing down on them.
Nick's mom (et al) are on the other side of the door. Nick tells his mom to "Go" so that she won't have to watch her son torn limb from limb. I love Nick's selflessness.
But... does nobody realize that it's a drop ceiling? They could have gone right up and over. There was a table right there.
Come on FTWD creators. Don't be so sloppy.
Yep. Daniel and Old-Man Pants are the only ones who deserve to survive. The young girl is very extremely pretty (lol), but none of the others are interesting at all. And Blond Mom is the most annoying person! Last ep was the best so far, because of Daniel. Still, every time they start to make some headway into being an interesting show, they drop the ball. Meh.
