So I've actually never read anything by Stephen King, but there is one thread here that raises a question about something that I may have the answer to so basically just here to help out. Might be this will make me read a king novel in the future

The StephenKing.com Library is a great resource, many of the books listed have a short synopsis of the story.
Start in the order they were written and you can experience his growth as a writer.
