I missed this report a few months ago. I was under the wrong impression (that the NFL never bothered to correct) that 11 of the 12 balls were significantly under inflated. This report says that only 1 ball was 2lb under inflated. I only searched for this article because of Robert Kraft's statement today that the NFL didn't correct the original erroneous reports. I had not heard this before.

Maybe. Maybe not. But considering Goodell's record on how he's handled other controversies, I've got an open mind to considering the possibility.
I can't get past the one sentence that said this had been a multi-million dollar investigation.

If the text messages were that important, why can't the provider give a transcript? If they already have all the numbers of everyone he was talking to, surely some of that multi-million money being spent could have been used towards cross referencing relevant numbers and then getting the transcript from the cell company.

One thing to consider with the 1 under inflated ball is that the Colts gave the NFL 1 of the 12 balls. The Colts intercepted a ball and kept it. Was that the under inflated ball?
I take back everything I said earlier about being sure that Brady knew what was going on. I had never seen this report about only 1 ball being under inflated.
