And the Iron Bowl is on. Alabama kicked the opening kickoff out of bounds but Auburn turned the ball over on their first play and Alabama capitalized on it with a touchdown drive.

Thanks to Ole Miss beating Mississippi State, Alabama will play in the SEC title game no matter what happens tonight. But... I hope Alabama plays lights out tonight and doesn't try to look ahead.

Alabama wins it in highest scoring Iron Bowl ever. 55-44. Those 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter were what won the game. After Blake Sims threw his third INT and the Tide went down 33-21 I admit I did get a bit nervous. But they pulled it out.

Amari Cooper played awesome with over 220 yards receiving.

It was looking a little shaky when Auburn was up 6 and going in for another score. When Bama held them to a field goal, everything turned around.

Tonight... Dolphins vs Jets. The bad news for the Dolphins is they’ll be missing cornerbacks Cortland Finnegan and Jamar Taylor. Good news for the Dolphins is they’re playing the Jets, and Geno Smith will be Quarterback. Prediction: MIA 28, NYJ 10. Torn between watching the game and helping the wife with Christmas Decorations... both will entail misery. :(

Seriously!! How many times did he swear out there? Brady doesn't like to be on the losing end, huh?;;D
I’m not saying a word. Still holding out, hoping Brady will be a Jet next year with a 4 year contract. He can cry and cuss all he wants as a Jet as long doesn’t get the yips... which seems to come along with becoming a NY Jet QB. :)

A disappointing weekend.

The CSU Rams lost any chance at a Mountain West title or a premiere bowl by losing to the Air Force Falcons. They were just a little too braggadocio, I think, after their thumping of Utah State the week before. Too bad.

The Denver Broncos beat Kansas City, but not very impressively. It's tough to quarterback when you're apparently missing your arm. Our Hero and Spiritual Leader Peyton didn't look very impressive out there. Wherever the kinks are, I hope he gets them ironed out soon.

Do both....but I suggest drinking large amounts of alcohol. It will dull the pain.
I had to down a bottle or two of wine on Saturday while witnessing my beloved UNC Tar Heels being handed their butts on a platter.....oh well, at least they beat dook last week.
