Out on Lambeau's frozen field, but for a play or two,
Went New England's winning streak; an outcome Pats' fans knew
Was a possibility we faced when going in...
And, may I congratulate the Packers on their win.

I predict we'll see Green Bay again before we're through
I have hopes there'll be a different outcome when we do.
Pats are on to San Diego - playing Sunday night.
I don't think we're gonna lose that game, although we might.

I still like New England's chance of going all the way
(Even if we never see another run from Gray)
I believe we'll reach our goal; the Super Bowl or bust.
In Bill Belichick and Brady we put all our trust.

The Denver Broncos beat Kansas City, but not very impressively. It's tough to quarterback when you're apparently missing your arm. Our Hero and Spiritual Leader Peyton didn't look very impressive out there. Wherever the kinks are, I hope he gets them ironed out soon.

Well, Peyton didn't have a great game, but the Broncos as a whole looked impressive to me. C.J. Anderson flat out rocked. The Broncos played some tough defense. Connor Barth also contributed with five field goals.

Not exactly a great fantasy football night for Peyton, but I think the Broncos coaches made a deliberate effort to limit Peyton's throwing in favor of running the ball. That's what I want to see from the Broncos late in this season, too. Tough defense, special teams, and success at running the ball are the keys to playoff football. Achieving those are a sign that Peyton doesn't have to always be up to snuff in order for them to win a game.

But if all those other elements are working when Peyton is on his A-game, I think it'd be tough to beat them in the playoffs.

Put your money on the Chargers beating the Patriots this weekend!

New England is out in San Diego and Gronkowski gets his picture taken with The Biebs. Worse omen than the "Madden Curse."

The Chargers game is actually huge for the Pats. If they lose that and the Dolphins beat the Ravens, Miami will only be one game back. The two of them meet Dec. 14th in Foxboro and if the Dolphins win that one they will have beaten the Pats twice and hold all the tiebreakers for the division. Far fetched perhaps, but this is the NFL of today.

I also think that the Jets will be especially tough in NJ on the 21st. It ain't over yet....

Yup, and I have a bridge I could sell you at a great price...

th

Perhaps, but that is their last home game and quite possibly Rex's last game as head coach in NY and the NFL. Players have always played hard for him and I'm thinking that they will put up a good fight. Hell, they almost beat them in Foxboro when they played a good hard game.

Yeha, yeah, all sounds good in theory, except for the fact that... IT'S THE JETS! :(

I know, but since the GIANTSSUCK I'm hoping the Pats make the playoffs and go far. It's so much better when you have a team to pull for. I know you don't remember the feeling, being a JETSSUCK fan and all.

But its pretty nifty...........

I’ll root for any AFC east team in the playoffs, and the AFC team in the Super bowl... except for the PATS. As long as Belichick is there I’ll always root for the opposing team. Can’t ever get over the way he screwed the Jets with accepting the job for one day after the team was built for his ascension to head coach, and then bolting for New England.

And as a Jets fan I always have hope for their success... unfortunately it’s always in the off-season. :(

I hear you. Belichick is probably the most despised coach in the league with that move, spygate, being utterly dominant...etc.etc......

If I don't have a team to root for I usually go with the underdog, but you remember how thrilled you were in 1969 don't you? Joe Willie and all? :D
