Thankful all are safe. What got to me-- this was the second time it had happened on a similar path near the house!
I live 180 miles from Yosemite National Park, so I usually hear when something happens there. You'd be surprised at how many people are killed by rockslides at the park. I also live about a hundred miles from several ski resorts and you'd be surprised at how many people die there by crashing into trees. 
Really, what is the point of this sign? Is it helpful in any way?

...I've always wanted to take the kids on the rock slides, but even though the signs are everydamnwhere around here, I've never found a fraggin' ticketbooth...
