But there is no baby. Just an empty sack. My body thinks it's pregnant, but there's nothing there. I'm not really handling this too well. I suffered a miscarriage before, but it was such an early one that it hardly felt like a loss. This though...I've had morning sickness, my belly grew a little, I've had more positive EPT's than I can shake a stick at, and I was sure, sure that I was having a girl. So. Anyway.

So very glad things are going well...
Please know you are all loved and prayed for...
Each day has new surprises...some good, some not so good...but we continue to pray and go on. Know I'm here if ya need to vent...just send a pm...

This happened to me a long time ago. It actually happened twice. Maybe I understand what you are feeling. It's like being robbed in the worse possible way. I felt desolate, slapped in the face and violated by, what I don't know. I felt betrayed by the universe and my own body. It was possibly the saddest things I had ever endured, but endure it I did and do still.
Know you are loved and we are here to share your pain.

My mom has a friend named Susan in North Carolina - their dogs are sisters. Although my mom has never met Susan in person, they have become great friends who call and email frequently. Several years ago, Susan sent my mom money for dog food (for an extended period of time) after my mom had surgery and was bedridden for many months.

Susan found out today that her dog has cancer. Many of us understand what she is going through. If you love animals and the kind people who care for them, please send Susan (and her sweet dog) your prayers. Her dog's name is Mae.
