Alexandra, I've been worried about you for quite some time and want to thank Anne for letting us know what's been going on. Take care of yourself and when your up to it I'll look forward to seeing more pictures of that beautiful lake and mountain you have been so nice to have shared with us all. They'll be many more smiles for you as well......count on it.

Hello Everyone
Thank you so much for your prayers and messages. They DO make a difference. Mom made it! Her heart stopped
twice the surgeon said but they were able to do what was needed. She was out cold most of the time I saw her
after surgery. Noticed the nurses are now using the pain pump button for her She has a lot of tubes and wires
hooked to her but the Dr. said he doubts the feeding tube will be inserted again. Said she would be eating
baby food for a long time. I am going back up this afternoon. He said the next 24 hrs are crucial. All of you
DID help and I thank you so much.
When I keyed in to the home page of this forum up popped the words End of Watch. She had been saying
that a lot the last few weeks. Now I know what she was talking about.
When she told Sarah and I she had joined a forum we were a bit concerned to be honest. There are some
nasty ones out there. We won't be worrying about it anymore. This is AMAZING! What wonderful people
you are. No wonder she talks about it all the time. Over the next couple of days (if it is ok) I am going
to look around a bit and give Mom some news as to how all of you are doing. Also going to see if there
is anyway she can get on here with her I Pad. I will talk to the staff about it. I know she misses being on
here and it would do her good to be back on this forum.

Hi Anne, thank you for the update on your mom. I am so glad you feel welcome on the SKMB. We are a family here and you are now part of it too. Know prayers and healing vibes will continue. I can't remember if you mom has read Mr Mercedes and Finders Keepers, the first two books of the trilogy ending in End of Watch. Maybe, as she feels better, you could bring that book to her- read it at visits if she is too tired.

Feel free to ask any questions you have about the MB. I send you inner peace with Love and green lights ( your mom will know about the green lights)

Hey everyone, I feel reluctant to post here with so many others with significant needs. My troubles seem pale in comparison.
Number one, I am a Christian but have fallen away from regular attendance. My heart was very connected to playing piano for morning worship and that has been hard to lose. I feel like such a hypocrite. Idk, just reflecting. This place has been very welcoming and I appreciate all of you for the happiness and support you've given whether you realize it or not.
Some of you may know I lost my library job of ten years a year ago. This has been a very big loss, too. To top it off, I'm afraid a loved one may be in the first stages of Alzheimer's disease. I know, big whammies.
Thank you for any prayers you can spare. God bless you.

My name is Anne and I am Alexandra's daughter. I am probably not supposed
to use my Mom's account but I didn't know any other way of contacting all of you.
Hope I don't get her kicked off this message area. She talks about all of you all the time but has no way to go on line at the hospital. There is a computer but it rejects my request to go on here so I am using her laptop at home.
Mom has had a rough time the past few months and after her first surgery she was put on a feeding tube and pain pump which she won't use. Gosh she is stubborn. Her second surgery is this afternoon at 2 30. She has surprised everyone at the hospital that she has made it this far. She is trying very hard Mr GNT and I have more faith than the doctors do that she can make it through this. I know my Mom and she does not give up.
I will tell her I have written you after it is sent. She has told me what a fine man you are Sir so I thought if I wrote you maybe you could pass it along. Mom is always talking
about all of you and by the sounds of it you have made a strong impact in her life and
I thank you all for that. She wonders about Morgan and if she is okay, if Dana is doing
well, about Frank and his health and she talks about Out of Order and how he makes her laugh. She has not forgotten anyone and hopefully she will be able to get back on
your Board and they will have not forgotten her. She worries that people will be angry with her for not writing but she just doesn't have access right now. Please don't give
up on her. Oh, she told me about your Stephen King trip and said how wonderful it
will be and such fun. Have a great time!!!
Well I have to go, Mom is in a hospital in the Northern Interior and I want to get there to see her before she goes in for her surgery.
