May your partner be well soon - mighty serious surgery he is having - I pray that all goes well and he has a speedy recovery!All went well with the surgery--thank you again for all the positive thoughts sent! I'll be going to the hospital to see him after work. I think we both need naps today--very little sleep last night for either of us and up at 3 AM to get ready to be at hospital by 5:30.Working at home today so may sneak one in before long.

Update on Teddy's mom ... they changed many of her cardiac meds .... and they found she is having thyroid issues .... she was admitted to the hospital, she sounded okay today .... her kidney functions have improved.....

Update on PITH's mama. She came through the endoscopy fine, after another bleed over the weekend. It is the bulging pockets of the diverticulum that is the cause of the bleeding, plus her age 90. Will be monitored, meds of blood thinners changed and Patrick will inform me when she's home.
He thanks each and everyone on the SKMB for all the positive thoughts and prayers. And yes, he's a nervous wreck!

I am so relieved to hear this diagnosis...! My mum suffers from diverticulitis, this is manageable! (Thank God)

Yes, I was gonna say, lots people have diverticulitis, and while it has a variety of available levels of seriousness, none of them are life-threatening. Continued prayers.
