My mother just past away this morning. I was out at the nursing home. My mother was 88, it's going to take awhile to get over this. I love you mum.

I'm sorry for your loss, Mark. You have my sympathy. Were you there, then, when she left? My mother passed away when she was five years younger than I am now...death is never easy and you never forget. It gets easier with time and you remember always. God's peace.

My sincere condolences for your loss, (((Mr. Cranky))).
It's coming up on the 1st anniversary of my Mothers passing and I was reminded of a time a few years ago when after cracking her pelvis my siblings and I took it in turns to look after her needs as she was bed ridden for a time. It was a little uncomfortable at first, but in a way it all came full circle. Hold your memories close.

So sorry, Sir Cranky. You were lucky to have had her with your for such a long time. My mum was killed when she was 50, my son was only 5 and never really got to know her. As someone said here, treasure your memories. Time will heal.
