...I've been in costume my entire life...I'm truly only 3'6".....
This is costumes I made for my kids, around 1990.
And this is one my son made about 5 years ago. I made the elf hat, he did the rest. He was about 12. ( obviously, not the same kid as in the first picture.

...all the stuff looks cool & groovy.....I was never allowed to trick or treat as a kid, another side effect of an overly protective mother-end result being I was very socially awkward and withdrawn at that age....sounds a whole lot like Eddie Kaspbrak's Mom, Sonia doesn't it?.....
