I wish I could get to PEI this summer. The last time we were there was an. Acadian anniversary and it was fabulous. There were people in period costumes and I met someone pretending to by my own ancestor. She was at a museum of my ancestors home.

This year is the 150th anniversary of confederation and it is a 70 day party down there.

This link isn't cute, funny, or musical. But if anyone wants to learn a little bit about your northern neighbours, this looks a decent place to start. :)

It's so cold here in Winnipeg right now - it may be warmer up North in Baker Lake today??? (still I am glad to be back home!)

Neesy we didn't watch today.

We took our son out to drop off an application to do volunteer work, then took a leisurely drive home. We used to actually march in a parade every year, but haven't in a loooo-ooooong time.
