:icon_eek: Wow! A friend of mine highly reccomended this book.So I started it....got to page 150,knew that I was tempting the headache gods but could not put it down! I ended up reading the whole thing, headache be da%*ed! It was SO good! My husband and son were off camping for the night and I was totally creeped out and anxious trying to go to sleep when I finished. It's been awhile since a book has had that effect on me.Now I am chomping at the bit to read his newest one! Has anyone else read it and what did you think?

I have it on my kindle but haven't read it yet. I think danie has read it, and carrie's younger brother, if I am remembering right!

I think someone just posted recently about reading the new one and that it was very creepy, but I cannot remember who!
'Twasn 't me, dear Cat...not sure who it was, though I do remember reading about it. I will try to find out. :)

Looks like, along with carrie's younger brother, these members have read it:
AchtungBaby
Haunted
OldDarth
Bev Vincent
ghost19
80sFan
It's discussed in the What Are You Reading thread around ghost19's post #6456. What Are You Reading? | Page 323 | The StephenKing.com Message Board
:)
From Amazon, Mr. King gives a plug that any author of horror would love to have: “A Head Full of Ghosts scared the living hell out of me, and I’m pretty hard to scare.” (Stephen King)

Has anyone read his latest one? "Disappearance At Devil's Rock", premise sounds promising, may go ahead and purchase this one, give it a day in court.

That one sounds a whole lot like the 70's movie "Picnic at Hanging Rock." I wonder if he makes any reference to it? I heard good things about "Head Full of Ghosts" but that has been tough going. One of those written hoping to make it into a movie type books. The Conjuring Part 12.

ok, I've read the first couple chapters and I'm having problems with the author's writing style. His run-on sentences rival even my own lol. Sometimes I have to look back at the beginning of a sentence to see how some off-the-wall descriptive phrase applies because I'd forgotten what the sentence is about. The main character's thoughts are all over the place :( Is this purposeful?

I will continue reading because I love gothic novels. I used to read gothic romances. I realized that each new story I read was pretty much the same as the others I'd read only with different characters but I read a bunch of them anyways lol. I even liked those Fear Street novels by R L Stine :)
