What the hey, you cant just not take heart meds. Also, at least in america, they make cold medicines that are specifically ok to be taken with heart meds.

(I was sick over the weekend and ended up in A & E with my (stupid) heart issue, it came right pretty quickly though and I was able to come back home. On the plus side, I got Finders Keepers finished.)

I feel for you. I had gout in my knee a few years ago, and it hurts like hell. Worse than childbirth, worse than my herniated discs. For me, drinking much beer makes it worse, especially combined with eating food high in nitrates. Hopefully you'll have this one flare-up and be done.
Yeah, lets hope for the best. Somehow i had the illusion that only really old persons got gout. I'm in my best year darn it!!! And i havent had any problems since that time when i limped to the doctor and he took the tests. It was in my ankle so had big difficulties to walk at all. But now i don't feel a thing. except for problems sleeping i feel very healthy. I just don't understand it......

I'm also glad you got a chance to finish Finders Keepers.
I don't need to take the medication every day, only when I have 'an event'. I just wasn't sure if there were any contraindications with the cold med's, so couldn't take it right away, but things settled by themselves before I had to take it... which is good because I get side effects from the beta blocker for days afterwards.
Maskins I still feel like I had a really nice break.

Napped. Played Quizup on my phone. Went to Zupas, my new favorite eatery. Did a little tiny bit of yard work, moved a hose around to the dry spots the sprinklers didn't get.
Oh boy... don't tell me about Quizup, I need another new addiction like I need another hole in my head.

It's a salad, soup, sandwich place -- but don't think typical fare. It is so fresh and good and interesting varieties of things. i had a cauliflower soup that was to die for. To. Drop.Down. Dead.
