I'm hoping Mr. King himself reads my comment. I read Duma Key 2 years ago in July. My boyfriend's daughter, then 10 years old, drew a picture of a black cat with creepy blue eyes on a Saturday night. She wrote underneath the cat "Bobcat or Fluffball". Sunday morning my boyfriend found a black kitten near death and asked me what I wanted to do with it. We now have "Bobcat Fluffball". He has double and triple paws and a weak eye from being sick when we found him.

I am also reminded of this book every time I go through a neighborhood that has the lawn jockeys in their yard.

Just last weekend I finished The Stand, now I'm creeped out about the E Bola break out in West Africa.

Welcome aboard!

I'm hoping Mr. King himself reads my comment.

There's times I wonder if he does read his hosted forum, and then other times I know that my own productive time has been eaten away by time I spend here, and I think, "He couldn't possibly take the time to prowl here and still get out the pages."

Which is kind of a cute little loop, if you think about it. Successful writer creates website, including forum, which he can't spend time on, or else his success may diminish.

There's gotta be a Stephen King story in that conundrum.
