When I was a kid I was a "plane spotter", travelling around civilian and military airfields with a recognition book, note book and binoculars. I've retained that interest all my life and although not an avid enthusiast I kept abreast of the later generations of aircraft that came into service, and like Warthogs.
If I hear an aircraft when out, I still look up to see what it is.
The first date with my future wife was to London Airport! Wasn't that romantic!
...all this hog talk makes me bristle and go whee, whee, whee all the way to my insurance company....
