Okay, pick the one damn thing I haven't grown. Lol! But I love Brussel Sprouts!Brussels Sprouts?
Um, we are a man.A girl after my own heart.
If you order plants from Marshalls Mr Nobody, they deliver at a time that they are ready to plant. Takes the guess work out of it.
Sorry Sweet Pea... Didn't mean to offend. I was agreeing that perennials are the way to go as annuals are too much work.Um, we are a man.
I really didn't like these as a kid, but have had them since I've grown and like them better now--especially with a nice roast gravy.Brussel Sprouts look like they are alien seed pods...ready to grow little aliens. They sure are yummy steamed and sauteed with olive oil and garlic.
No harm, no foul. It's all good here. Annuals are a waste of money, IMHO.Sorry Sweet Pea... Didn't mean to offend. I was agreeing that perennials are the way to go as annuals are too much work.
There are a lot of veggies I couldn't stand as a child but really like now. My hypothesis for this change is that taste buds mature over time. A newborn's taste buds for detecting sweetness are fully mature at birth, however; presumed reason being so that the infant will readily take glucose, which is the only nutrient the central nervous system uses. The CNS is very immature at birth, requiring much food for much continued growth.I really didn't like these as a kid, but have had them since I've grown and like them better now--especially with a nice roast gravy.

I'm trying a window sill herb garden this year....planted all sorts of herb seeds in clay pots. Everything is sprouting except the rosemary.....nothing yet
We have a terrible time with rosemary! I can't keep it alive. I finally found a lavender plant that I can grow (that's problematic for me, too), but its still small. I end up buying both of those. I've heard that chamomile is hard to grow, as well, but I've not tried it yet.I'm trying a window sill herb garden this year....planted all sorts of herb seeds in clay pots.
