Yes, thankfully all of the roads are clear. Tina, I am glad to hear that your storm wasn't a bad one.
Not as funky as on Sunday night thank goodness! (If I had seen that while it was happening, instead of in a video the next day, I think I would have been down in the sump pit hiding!)
We had storm watches out that night but no tornado watches/warnings. ??

You would have had to knock me out of the way because I'd already be hiding there...LOL.

It's much the same on the Yorkshire coast, we get two or three sunny days then the wind and rain come back

i will do my best, try to keep my mind on Mr Mercedes in 11 days. Did you know 3/4 of the audience at the one d concert are under 16. Croke park is usually home for gaelic football and hurling and holds, 82,000 people. oh god. i need a beer

Rainy season has started early, so it daily afternoon T storms with heavy rains, thunder, lightning, winds and hail. As a special treat, sometimes we get them from the gulf in the early morning too. 50% daily, 90F/32C by afternoon.
Weather has been warm all week long...70s during the day...dunno about night time temps. No rain. I'll cut the grass for the first time this weekend...Saturday or Sunday...will also plant the garden...that will have to wait until Sunday and of course they're forecasting rain for Sunday. I have boots. I don't melt. Only sugar melts and all my sugar left me years ago. Not a drop of sugar left nosirree Bobby. There's a patch of snow a couple miles up the hill...by the snow fences on M-26 just south of Florida Location...snow I know about. Wouldn't be surprised there's snow elsewhere. We had the 16th coldest winter on record. Friend tells me they were digging a trench the other week...hit frost...still in the ground, took forever to dig. I think road restrictions are still on...they have weight limits as the frost is workings its way out of the ground. Leaves are just now starting to come in. Two two and a half weeks behind whatever normal is. Would like to get out in the bush and poke around. Last year it was late...August? before I could have some fun that way and by then the tics had disappeared...maybe it's just as well. 70s seems almost too warm to us...to me. Windows open at night...fresh air...so on so forth.

rain today...looks like it will be an all-day affair. the grass is amazingly green.
that apple tree was almost completely covered with snow...got my garden started, not all in yet...still have some yellow and green beans to plant, yellow squash, lettuce, spinach, more onions, more cucumbers, more tomatoes...in the apple tree you might be able to see a robin who has a nest on the deck beam just below where I stood to take the picture. yesterday, on the steps going down to the back yard (out of pic to right) I discovered what might have been...owl crap...or something. thought a cat had gotten the baby robins...that I have not seen nor heard as yet...but the robin is still tending the nest. an owl might have perched on the edge of the roof and did what they do...in fact, the wife this morning calls downstairs, what is that, a dog...and she makes this owl noise. went outside to listen...thought maybe an owl or morning doves. 59F this morning, 94% humidity, fog, east wind at 9 mph. people are crazy.

75F/24C heading for high 80's. Full sun (needed to dry things out). Isolated T storms only 20%.
Was a cool, rainy weekend. Sun shining today, heading for 73.
