Something's up with our weather. It's usually hovering around 100F by now. Last week it rained all week (but I wasn't here). Now it's kind of mild - like April usually is. I'm not complaining, but it's weird.

How about the mosquitoes, they biting yet?
Oh, yeah!! Black flies, mosquitoes, deer flies--they're all out and hungry!
So, you have the triple header as well? I had the dog out last night and he was catching the deer flies so fast a put a little less food in his bowl for dinner.
One bug we left out was those damn noseeums. I tell you, I get the worst bites from those little devils, worse than the bigger biting insects. And you never know it until you start to itch. What are they like a set of teeth on wings?

Overnight low-70'sF/ daily high 90F to 100F plus. Morning or afternoon T storms- some violent. Repeat till October.
We've.....dare I say it.................had a nice stretch of weather going on here. In the 80's, but cooling down to the 70's today. No....ummmmmmmmmmmm rain.

44, heading for 74 as a high today. Just about perfect.
There have been some bad storms down around my family the last few weeks. My aunt had golf ball size hail damage to her house the same day a new roof was finished on her house due to a hail storm last year. Missed my dad and his crops but by the time it got a little farther up the road, it was dropping softball size hail. My dad hasn't been unscathed by hail though, had to tear up all the wheat and plant corn due to hail.

Yep pretty scary and amazing. Saw some pictures in the paper, someone was holding a hailstone next to a softball. It looked even slightly bigger than the softball. But it wasn't ALL that big, so amazingly wasn't too much damage. Weird how that works.
