It's hard to believe that last weekend it looked like autumn and last week we got the snow.

It's getting colder -6C/21F currently and a lot of snow, it's getting colder to the Xmas -13F/8F on Thursday. But at least we got a white Christmas.

well, seems to be a snowless christmas this year. At least in Stockholm. The southern highlands will probably get some and the northern parts. and perhaps the westcoast because they are expecting a storm... But here it is about 0C and no snow or rain. Frost at night but really a very mild winter so far. Less sun than usual though. November was the month with least sunhours in last 100 years of measurements. More sun in december but not much. the sun rises, if it can be seen, at 9 AM and disappear at 14.30PM.

The snow came on the 25,th... and melted away on the 30,th. An extremely short period with snow. At least on the 29,th there was enough snow for the children to make snowangels in. Now it is about 2C and no snow. It is said that we will have a coldwave from the arctic coming in later in January... We'll see. Don't really have much faith in weather forecasts. Especially when they go over a week in the future. I mean.. Isn't a lot of the forecasts based on statistics? And if, as the scienceguys says, we are in the beginning of a climate change that would mean that there is a new factor that the statistics hasn't calculated with. Or am i totally wrong? Not exactly my sphere of expertise.

Looks like we're in for more snow Saturday night, possibly 5-8". Have to start working back at the office on Tuesday so was hoping that would hold off until I'm done with using crutches around the middle of January. Guess I better attach those ice grippers to the crutches. :glare:
