THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A * FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN MARYLAND...EAST CENTRAL OHIO...PENNSYLVANIA AND WEST VIRGINIA. * FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON * RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA THIS EVENING AND INCREASE IN INTENSITY OVERNIGHT. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL IS LIKELY TO BE AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. RAIN WILL BEGIN TO TAPER OFF FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST ON SATURDAY. * STORM TOTAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 1.75 INCHES IS EXPECTED...WHICH MAY LEAD TO URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING PROBLEMS.

It's only 63 here on the Oh-high-Oh River right now, doubt it'll get much over 80 here today.
Weather wizard weather app says it's "cloudy" at this particular location, and in this very moment in Ky. time, and I suppose that's accurate, however the driving rain makes it rather hard to see said cloudage...experience in these weather related matters makes me feel good about ASSuming though:eagerness:

I haven't been out much. Hubby is sweltering at work, though. Welding is tough when it's hot. All the protective gear and clothing, the heat from welding and the weather temps all combine in a bad way. He said his work space yesterday registered 314 degrees at one point. :eek:

Lots of breaks out from under the hood and drinking lots of water and pouring lots of it on his head. I worry.

We have to watch that around here. The humidity is so high in the morning that the roads can be slightly wet even if there hasn't been rain. I have unexpectedly fishtailed a time or two. That will wake you up first thing in the morning. ;-D

Holy cow!! Hopefully they give the poor guy those breaks in an air conditioned room. That probably would make it worse when he goes back to work though...

I don't know if their break room is air conditioned! I think so. Main offices are, and that's where he breaks if he is in the shop like yesterday and not down in the pit. They have big fans and stuff, but yeah. I think he is missing the rain and cooler temps already.
