Our weather today for Canada Day 2015 seems to be starting out well.

Our air conditioning just kicked in. Andy is (as usual) out on the back deck, soaking up the sun. He says it is still quite cold back in Baker Lake so he is working on his tan.
We bought some flowers (petunias) and some herbs yesterday - sage, lemon basil, chives and oregano to plant around the flowers.

It's not common in Germany to have one. We just sweat and try not to make fast movements.
Mostly such heat is only lasting for a couple of days that's why we don't see a lot use in an AC.

Another hot day in Kelowna; doesn't seem to be below 35degC during the day. There is a haze in the mountains;
a few wild fires going but no forest fires, so far ......

Around 30 C the last 2 days, way too hot for me. Average daytime temperature here is about 22 for this time of year.

Low 20s at night - that's just wrong. Only good thing about this weather is that when it rains it brings the thunder. I like thunder and lightning.
