Tomorrow - Scattered thunderstorms in the morning, then mostly cloudy during the afternoon with heavy thunderstorms becoming likely. High 79 °F (26.1 °C). Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph (16.1 to 24.1 kph). Chance of rain 80%.

I snapped this pic last night during a storm with my phone. I'm not sure how it comes out in the world of computer screens, but the sky had an odd purple tone. It was 8:45 in the evening, but the the trees were lit almost like it was mid afternoon. I've never seen anything like it.

I only stepped out on the porch long enough to take the photo.
Never seen a purple like it. I've seen those yellow and green "bruises" in thunderheads before, but nothing that magnificent.
This is the first time I've seen anything like it.

Thunder, rain, thunder.. repeat. Sun tired to make appearance/no go. 80F. Once sun does come out 101F predicted, followed by more thunder tonight!
Currently, 73F and raining. Later, 87F and raining. Baltimore summers are like living in garbage soup.

Are you in Edmonton? I recall it being very, very dry after being in Ontario - I felt parched all the time, so hot and steamy must feel weird for you

I missed the humidity, strangely enough, once we moved out to Edmonton, and they all thought I was nuts out there!
