The drama of a 16 year old girl and the homecoming dance this weekend. Dress, shoes, makeup, gossip, oh my. And she’s taking a girlfriend of hers whose parents split up earlier this year and she had to move an hour away about a month ago and is now being home-schooled. My daughter’s boyfriend is not too happy about not getting to go with her. Is it too much to hope the hurricane gets here before Saturday night?

I was not there. It is the place I call home in Alberta. All my family members were up there. One lost his house. I was so scared until they all reached here to safety.

Glad to hear that she is safe.....Phew, thankful and grateful that all of our Tet-Mates and their families are safe. Saying prayers for those still in the path of this storm. ( My family used to live in Dalton Georgia. My mother is utterly terrified of storms, now I can see why) Sending out hugs, prayers and safety vibes to all.
