No comments about the storm, looks like she left a message around 13 hrs ago about plans for the weekend, so I think she's fine...FlakeNoir -- Have you seen Dana on facebook? Is she making any comments about the storm?
Judging from the traffic, I think they're all in Greenville, South Carolina.I was warm yesterday, but today is slightly overcast. It's not a bad day. I was listening to the radio and they said over a million people had to be evacuated in Florida. Pretty bad.
The forecast for today is 91degrees. With no power, it's going to be uncomfortable.
The frogs didn't bother me last night. The roar of generators drown them out.
This reminds me of that real life story where 2 guys hijacked a busload of kids and buried them in some bunker thing to get ransom money.

How are you holding up? Was your area hit hard?Did you see the night satellite picture of Fl taken before the storm, and then after Matthew passed your area? A large portion on the East coast shows no lights. Hope power is back on soon. Very muggy here this morning. High 80's due.
Charlotte is well inland. She might be getting some rain bands, light wind.No comments about the storm, looks like she left a message around 13 hrs ago about plans for the weekend, so I think she's fine...
I've sent an email to Char too, but haven't heard back.

....let the AC crank!...glad you made it through buddy....My power is back on. Thank you FPL!!!!
No more typing on the phone. How do people do that all the time? It took me forever to spit out a few words.
I never really messed with the internet part of my phone much because I've always preferred to sit down with a big screen and a keyboard in front of me. But I will say that once I sort of figured out how to use the internet on the phone, the phone was such a big help during the storm. When the power was out, I could watch the local newscasts on the phone and leave a few messages for you guys. Thanks for all the concern from everyone here. My area really dodged a bullet when the storm shifted East a few miles right before it got to us. I hope all our members on the SE coast to the North of me are ok. I haven't seen a lot of news but it looks like Jacksonville plus the coasts of S Carolina and N Carolina got hit pretty hard.
