We got a weather prognosis that says no snow for christmas.... About 2-3 C. Is that 33-34 F? I'm not sure. Why cant the world agree to measure temp in one way?? And distance to for that matter??
The metric system conversion is so confusing...

1 million microphones = 1 megaphone
2000 mockingbirds = two kilomockingbirds
10 cards = 1 decacards
1 millionth of a fish = 1 microfiche
453.6 graham crackers = 1 pound cake
1 trillion pins = 1 terrapin
10 rations = 1 decoration
100 rations = 1 C-ration
10 millipedes = 1 centipede
3 1/3 tridents = 1 decadent
2 monograms = 1 diagram
8 nickels = 2 paradigms
2 wharves = 1 paradox

The coldest I've been in is minus 36 degrees celsius. I had these stupid Doc Martin rubber sole shoes on and I slipped over and hurt my elbow. I went to the library and they had a English version of IT in the local library. I lay down in the bed and read the book. The about a week later I was walking in the forest and i slipped over and hurt my knee.

Went to a Chinese Restaurant where we had the buffet. My fortune cookie said, "You will hurt your foot." I've never returned. My foot is okay. It's my groin that is aching. Pulled a muscle, I hope that is all. We have snow. Over four feet now according to the news, second page, top. Today, I refuse to move it. Maybe tomorrow.

It is actually good weather but it does not fit! It is 5C outside. Much to warm for this time of year. I WANT A LITTLE SNOW FOR CHRISTMAS,! Just a little for the holidays but if i know january something horribly cold will hit us then. Ive read about weather control in SF books, why does noone invent that?

I'll give you some of ours - we got 33 cm (13 inches for those who don't "do" Celsius)

Perhaps we can blame "The Colorado Kid"?

"The Colorado low behind the storm was just south of Lake of the Woods early Monday morning and tracking northeast, Environment Canada said."

30 degrees celsius. I went for a walk down to Wickham, walked past the marina. Across the road from the marina is a fantastic example of late 19th century architecture, Gothic type. It was originally a school, but now is run by the Samaritans as a place to house young people who are homeless. Then I walked to Carrington, and stopped off and had two beers at the Sevens Seas Hotel where my father used to live in 1961 when he was doing the Coal ship route from Newcastle to Sydney. It is not too hot. Quite nice. Then I walked to Mayfield and looked at some things. Boy, am I bushed.

4 degrees F here (-16C, for those so inclined :D) We got about a foot of snow last night (on top of the stuff that was already on the ground), but now it's just cold as heck. Not a fan. A friend on Barrow Island, off the coast of Australia, said it was 116 F there yesterday. Not sure which is worse, to be honest.

Simply, having, a wonderful winter time. We've had over ten feet of snowfall so another couple inches this morning makes my day. Will head out in another hour, crank up the Husqvarna, and go to town. Cold, too. Anything around 32 on the f-scale is a heat-wave, honest, and if the gauge hits 40 we're running around with our long-johns rolled up, barefoot. Snowmen sculptures reflect our mood. There's Jack, over at Paul's house, flannel shirt, faded jeans, big coal smile. Look for him on Facebook, Snapchat, maybe Twitter. Does Twitter do photos? Or is that only people badly handling the English language? Separating the sheep and the goats, the heathen and the righteous? Calling the faithful, swing by, kneel down and pray.

Going to go and rake some snow off a trailer roof after cleaning up the driveways...four of them, plus a walkway around the blue house over on the corner...a path so the meter reader can do his job. The things we do for love. The gauge rarely, if ever after the turn of the year reaches 40...for the most it is in the teens, 20s...occasionally it will dip below 0 on the f-scale, cold enough it almost hurts to breath so you scarf it.
