We've got Florida snow. We get this weed invasion every 2 or 3 years called Florida snow and we have a good amount of it this year. This is what it looks like

It will be in the 80s through Christmas so this will be our snow.

Hit 85F, had to cycle the AC to cool down the house. They do promise a slight chill for the 25th ( 70 day/ 50 night!)

Just think of a roller-coaster--- temps up, rain, temps down, a night or two of freeze, temps up. It's normal to go from 80's to 30's in one day. AC to heat--

We are putting a space heater in the garage for any homeless cats who wander by because they will definately die out there tonight.

Legit question, I live in an area that's never seen that kind of cold. What do people who don't have garages do about their vehicles? Is there some sort of portable system people can hook up to the battery or some special kind of battery for vehicles in that kind of climate?

Here in northeastern NC/southern VA it's 27 degrees feeling like 22. I know I could never live in the north where it gets really cold. This is just too cold for me.

We use block heaters under the hood. Most places have outlets where you can plug them in to keep your engine warm.
