There have been tantalizing hints of spring here lately and this morning to my horror a blanket of snow greeted me. Apparently it caused whiteout conditions as there were about 40 collisions on HWY 401, mostly tractor trailers.

Very windy last night. Thousands lost power and of course the temps plummeted into the low teens. Par for the course. Luckily we didn't lose power, but I have a regular pine cone party going on outside.
You should collect them - I like to put them in my fireplace

33 on the f-scale, feels like 25, snow on Saturday. We haven't had our "St Paddy's Day Storm" yet...any storm within 3-4 days or longer is labelled as such. We still have a lot of snow on the ground. Paper says we have 8"...don't know where they measure as the back yard has well over a foot foot and a half. Who still has snow on the ground?

At least 2 feet, maybe closer to 3 in my back yard. Overnight temps still often in the single digits which isn't helping with the snow melt.
