Because I am starting to feel human again. I have been getting up and doing things.. cleaning around here.. Eating like mad. Thank God for unemployment insurance. Getting out of the Funk.

Tonight is very chilly. I have the fireplace on. (one of those entertainment bottom thingers) It looks nice until I get my own real one again. And it kicks out heat!

I still have about a million job apps in. But I have time now. Looking to move.
I just might go further north. Hells, bells - I have nothing to tie me to anyplace!

Yay.
This is fantastic to hear... xox

I was on campus and walking to the main office and a young man said, "Hi, Ms.". I turned and and said, "Good Morning, sir." ( I recognized him as a student I had Subbed.) I kept walking and I heard his friend ask, "Who's she?". And the young man said,

"She's nice."

That made my day.

Peace.

...because Louie is an official part of our pack :) Lulu and I are always the first ones up; she has a treat and makes her morning constitutional, I have my coffee, and then we start waking the rest of the people. Today, though, Lulu wasn't interested in her treat or going out. She wanted to go downstairs. Down we go, to my daughter's door, and right up to her bed. Lulu went to get Louie! The dogs kissed, Louie jumped down, and off they went up the stairs for the treat, outside, etc. Really made me smile!

It's the little things :D
Oh-my heart is overjoyed right now! They are now kin and pack mates!

I am glad to hear you are feeling better. Sure - go North (but if I was you I would stop at the Canadian border) - it may be a bit TOO cold for your liking way up here :cool::hopelessness::cold::snowman::love:

Today I saw a guy in a British Expeditionary Force pith helmet riding one of those bikes with a giant front wheel and a tiny back wheel :) The bike had traveling bags attached, and on the back was a Union Jack license plate. Made my morning; like I said, it's the little things :D
